Featuring 25 indie designers from around the world, our Co Op announces our HUGE Spring Sample Sale to take place on Saturday May 17th, and Sunday May 18th at our retail location at 230 Grand St in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, just one block from Bedford. Love Brigade Co Op will also be holding a bake sale to raise funding for our new “futuristic forest” installation this summer, which will include several man-made trees reaching tall 13’ to the ceiling, directed by installation artist Jessica Preuss and featuring faux taxidermy by Jessica Tamson (http://www.fauxtaxidermy.com/gallery ).

Mixing modern utilitarian structures with hints of paintings from music legend Kurt Cobain, we found the perfect balance of creating truly desirable styles while refining artistic integrity. MATES OF STATE VIDEO

We were honored with providing our Co Op space for the Mates of State's newest video "My Only Offer". We of course cannot share any rough-cuts we've seen thus far, but we will say that our own Katie (chief assistant of Love Brigade), Alyssa (CEO), and Tinypants (Designer/DJ) were featured in the video as well as the Mates of State were also dressed head-to-toe in Love Brigade, styled by one of NYC's most amazing stylists, Valissa Yoe. LOVE BRIGADE CO OP INSTALLATION PROJECT: coming soon!

Love Brigade Co Op's message is to showcase and support the latest in emerging and independent designers, and we figured it was only natural to make our own space a reflection of such creativity and innovation. With this in mind we are collaborating with local installation artist Jessica Preuss to build a "futuristic forest" installation within our 700 sq ft co-op home.

The intention of the installation is to stand as symbol of inspiration within our community and showcase the work of the one of a kind work of each designer properly. It is also a fusion of art, and design alike, and if successful we hope to be featuring future artists to showcase their work as well and get their well deserved recognition.
